  1. I heard about this blog through my sister. She is really good friends with Andrew Spilker. (Another young boy at Primary Children's) I was looking at his blog and saw the link to this one. I read every post that was put and cried the whole time. I did not know your son but I got the feeling while reading this that he was such a nice, sweet, loving boy. I can't believe you and your families strength. I admire you guys so much. I am a mother of a 10 month old boy and can't imagine going through anything like this. But after reading this blog, I felt comforted knowing that if anything does, everything will be ok. Jacob must of been a great kid and fulfilled his mission down in the mortal world early for him to be taken back to be with his heavenly father. He must be one strong spirit to be the one choosen to look after his familiy while they are still on earth. I know this may be weird because I don't know you guys but I just felt that I should comment. Thanks again for being so strong!! I can tell that Jacob will be greatly missed.

  2. We are so sad for your loss. The time our family spent in the PICU with yours has been a blessing and a miracle in our lives. From Riann's family to yours, we know that you will be with Jacob again. We've never before as a family been so thankful for the chance we have to be together forever. We can't thank you enough for the support that you gave us in our time of sorrow, a miracle happened for us, and our Riann is healing, your miracle was the life jacob lived and the testimonies strengthened through your example. Our Brother in law has had a corneal transplant, and has been so blessed to see his babies grow, a feat that required a miracle. Thank you for your love and support in the PICU, thank you for your example, and thank you for providing a miracle to other families, that they might live on. Our prayers are with you.
